End Grain Cutting Board

I Wanted to have a go at an end grain board made from lots of blocks. It looks great and is as sturdy as anything you’ll get but it takes an awful lot of timber to get a reasonable size board. I’m not sure if it was the way I pieced it together but it took a very long time.
The way I went was to cut all of the blocks, then I glued the row together with the long piece next to it and let it dry, then I glued all of the pieces to the other side, clamped and let that dry. Because of this it was about 4 days to glue because I only had afternoons free to work on it.
